trying to understand the control logic of the Cerbo/Ekrano relay function called “Alarm Relay”.
Can relay 1 switch states based on VRM alarms?
It is designed to work with alarms generated by the GX itself.
The main function described in the manual is to do with temperature.
Thank you! However, the link to section 9.3 only references setting Relay 1 to be controlled by the temperature function. I am trying to drive Relay 1 based on a VRM based alarm by enabling Alarm Relay. I have not been able to get Relay 1 to change states based on any alarms. Any idea what controls Relay 1 when selecting Alarm Relay?
The VRM has push notifications. They are designed to work through the apps.
If you found a way to push those to the gx you might have luck. But it is not designed to work like that natively.
You will have to look more into node red, get the gx to generate the alarm and latch or unlatch the relay as needed.
