Is it possible to set up and get an alarm routed to your iphone via cerbo GX from the battery monitor BMV-712 Smart? i have tried and set up the alarm and on VRM page I can see that the alarm occured. I have the VRM app on my phone and I have notification allowed. I guess there are som fundamental reason it is not possible to reach from VRM to IPhone?
If your system is sending data to VRM, then you set up the alarms in VRM, not on the device itself.
On VRM go to the menu > Settings > Alarm Rules and set up the alarm there. You can choose to get alarms sent by email, they should also arrive on VRM app, the app needs to have notifications allowed.
It might not be on the automatic monitor list which can be found here. So a custom alarm may be needed as pwfarnell suggested.
Did you enable push notifications or email notifications?
I think I have done it all. Enabled email notification. The base question for me is. I should work to get notifications to your iphone if the voltage drops under a set value? I have the boat on shore with connected battery charging and would like to know if there is a power break, which can happen if someone else break the fuses.
If you have a Victron inverter connected to your Cerbo GX then you can set a VRM alarm for low voltage on the ac input.
It will all be contingent on if the gx remains powered up when the fuse blows…
I got it to work now. I did not do any changes but it might have been as simple as it was not properly activated. Now I get a notification on my phone if the voltage on the battery drops below 12.4 volt and I can go there and fix it. Thanks for your answers and input.
