Victron smartsolar 100/50 mppt

Hi,
I have a victron 100/50 mppt controller connected to a 100w solar panel and feeding a 280ah Eco-worthly LifePO4 battery in my motorhome.
The issue I am facing is that it is consistently showing as bulk charge and never goes to absorption or float, even thought the battery is showing as 100%(both in the victron smartshunt and on the bluetooth battery itself)
I have set the values in the battery settings on the victron app according to values advised by victron /eco-worthly. Am I doing something wrong?

Victron smartsolar settings
Absorption 14.2
Float 14.6

Victron /eco-worthly advised settings
For Victron SmartSolar charge controllers used with Eco-Worthy LiFePO4 batteries, the recommended settings are:
Bulk/Absorption: 14.2V - 14.6V,
Float: 14.6V, and
Equalization: 13.6V - 14.0V

Many thanks for any help and advice

don´t hear to AI. The float Voltage has to be lower then absorbtion. Try Absorbtion at 13.8V and float at 13.6V. Some batteries need 14.2V for balancing

Yeah, there is no ecoworthy victron page.

Lol. With regards to the AI answer…

It certainly doesn’t help that their own page has it flipped over either.

@Cheekytrucker
Swap the absorption and float values over. That then fits into the normal lithium battery charging methods.

Thankyou, I’ll try swapping them. :crossed_fingers:

Would the same apply to the orion xs 50a dc-dc charger… I had it set at the same parameters?

Yes, absorption always 14.0V or so and float 13.6V or so.

Cheers, many thanks for the info👍

My settings for the Orion xs 50a are now

Absorption 14.0
Fliat 13.6
Storage 13.5
Equalization 13.8

Does this look okay?
