SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 battery settings / does not re-enter bulk

We recently had an experience with a SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 where it went to float and did not re-enter bulk despite the battery being at only 9% SOC. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and they gave the following recommended settings:

(12V 100Ah LiFePO4 by CycleEnBattery)

-absorption voltage 14.6V
-float voltage 13.8V
-Equalization voltage 14.6V
-Bulk voltage offset 13.8v
-absorption duration(adaptive/fixed) adaptive
-max absorption time 2H
-tail current 5A
-Equalize duration 30mins
-maximum equalization duration 250ms
-Low-temperature charging protection 32℉

I’m concerned that these settings do not seem to make any sense. 250ms max equalisation duration? -Bulk voltage offset 13.8v?

Can anyone comment on this? Is the manufacturer wrong?

Secondly, whenever the breaker to the battery is turned off, the Victron goes to absorption and will not re-enter bulk until I shut to PV off and on again. Does this make sense? What can be the explanation?

You should just disable equalisation for lithium. But it is always a good idea to set the voltage to the same as absorption and rhe time as low as possible just in case it is activated manually.

for Re-bulk voltage offset 0.2V is probably adequate.

The voltages quoted as 13.8V/14.6V are high, 13.5/14.4V may be better.
