Victron EV Charger in standalone with Cerbo GX and ET340

Good day All,

We received a request for a Victron EV Charger. Please note that this Unit is standalone. We installed it with a Victron Cerbo GX and ET340. For some reason the EV keeps showing LOW SOC when plugging in the vehicle. We’ve tried to change the the register 5068 to one as shown in this link below, but the register returns to 0 when I change it to 1.

We’ve done a few with a full hybrid victron system which was quite straightforward but having the EV charger as standalone seems to be quite challenging.

Am I missing something ? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, update the EVCS to the latest firmware and in the settings, there is one called “virtual battery”. Enable it and that should be it.
