Victron Energy Sun Inverter 12/250-15 Issues

Hi Guys!

  1. In my Sun Inverter 12/250-15 doesn’t work charge current limit functionality.
    After the communication with distributor’s service engineers they conclusion was: I have issue with charging current limitation due to usage 3-rd party battery.
    As for me it no sense, should not be related to the battery.

  2. I have connected this inverter to GX and on monitoring dashboard I didn’t find any info about consumed current, and no any info about solar charger statistics, from the Victron App I can see all these info.

Could you investigate raised here issues?

Looking at the manual for the Sun inverter, it should be possible to set the maximum battery charge current using the Victron connect ap - https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/SUN_Inverter/Inverter_PH_Smart__VE_Direct_and_SUN-en.pdf see page 12.
If this is not working properly then you should ask for the unit to be exchanged. This has NOTHING to do with the type of battery connected.
