Despite the ESS beeing configured for Optimized with Battery Life and active SOC limit @ 35% (yesterday) the batteries are beeing charged from the grid.
Batteries are Pytes A5 x8 ~ 40kWh capacity
The system worked fine before the temperature drop we currently have (~0°C).
Batteries are outside but have heating elements. Battery temperature is usually between 6°C and 12°C.
So, here is what happened for the interested viewer:
First, the batteries are outside and we currently have like -5°C - +3°C.
In the VRM diagramms you can see that the battery switches on its heating pads and after the heater is switched off the batteries begin charging from the grid. (sorry, dont have the diagram anymore). Status of the multiplus on the cerbo is “Recharging”.
As this clearly indicates it has something to do with the batteries I updated the firmware on the Pytes V5 from 1.10.10 to 1.10.24.
