am still leaning :
DSE : I have generator having DSE Controller hgm6120n can not be pick on system.

AC: I use the AC breaker to switch off the AC then the gen starts. I am trying to use the Venus CX relays to switch on and off AC But I am failing to make the relay work

VENUS: I did all settings. I once pressed the reboot and the gen started only once

OK , you need to plug a 220V phase cable to the Com pin of the relay and one other cable from the NO pin to pin 1 of the 220V the relay’s coil. The pin 2 of relay’s coil need to be connected with the Netral cable of the 220V… on the picture Red cable = L1 or Phase, Black cable = Neutral [image] [image]

BMV Relay to control an external contactor

Hi there. I want to use the BMV relay to control a separate contactor that switches on and off another circuit, based on the state of charge of the battery. The power supply available is the 230VAC in the house and 50VDC from the battery. I don’t think I can pass AC trough the relay, but I tried to energise a 48VDC contactor from the battery and it did not work Is there any special contactor that I can use with the BMV relay. I read in the BMV manual that it’s rated at 60VDC, is this the max…

In the absence of a lot more detail, I suspect you want to look at using an AC contactor that you can control with the Venus by wiring it to the relay on the Venus.

If it did it once but will not work now have you damaged the relay by overloading it especially if it had a load with an initial higher power surge. There have been many instances of failed relays with contacts welded closed or melted open due to overload.
