Firmware was upgraded to version 3.60 on Cerbo GX which caused an issue with no remote display but following assistance from Nickdb sorted that out and went back to version 3.54. However Quatro 3KW 16A inverter had an error code 15 and flashing yellow bulk charge light with green inverter light. Checked the Quatros firmware and that was version 555 but it said an update was available to 508 ?. So wondered if 555 might have issues or a beta uploaded version 508 to the Quatro. This made no difference with inverter still off. I then unplugged the Cerbo VE bus from the VE BMS V2 and cycled the power switch on the Quatro inverter. This cleared the flashing LED’s and the inverter now stayed on. The alarm was still sounding on the Cerbo GX so cycled the power to that and it restarted with just ‘lost BMS’ connection which is correct because unplugged. Thinking that the VE BMS V2 might have a firmware issue I plugged my MK3 USB / VE BUS interface into the spare socket on the Quattro Inverter and ran ‘Victron connect’. The software only found the inverter not the BMS. So moved the interface connection to the port on the VE Bus V2 that went to the Cerbo GX and got nothing. I am guessing the issue is with the VE BMS V2 but run out of ideas??
Sorry, but i think you should return to 555, 508 has problems, was immediately replaced with 510.
Ok thanks I will change this morning and see if it sorts the issue. Wonder if its worth going right back into the last version 4xx before 5xx series? Think the moral here is to keep track of firmware versions that work and stick with thm turning off auto updates as highlighted by Victron in all their manuals. Shame I did not read those first !!
