My Phoenix Compact 24/1600/40-16 is not communicating with Cerbo GX after updating to firmware v556. (bug ?)
Is it possible downgrade the firmware to an older version ?
Older FW files can be found via Victron Professional (free account needed):
There is a text file with a link to the archive.
Thanks … I had to revert to 2616159 (v159) for AC load to show up in VRM.
and Product id to show upp again (Product id was blank with v556).
All this seems very buggy
159 is very old (over 10 years). You should try a newer version.
Yepp, have tried:
2616159 (v159) This was installed when got the unit
2616209 (v209) VRM displays inverter as “off” but its working
2616433 (v433) VRM displays inverter as “off” but its working
2616459 (v459) VRM displays inverter as “off” but its working
2616556 (v556) VRM displays inverter as “off” but its working
however only with v159 “AC Load” shows up in VRM
anny ideas ?
Check the VE.Bus wiring.
Do you have terminators plugged into the VE.Bus?
Nope i have not (stupid me), put in the terminators , restarted Cerbo and Inverter … no difference.
Tried with a shorter TP-cable … no difference.
maybe i have to live with v159 that works in VRM
the only inconvenience is that the inverter don’t restart after a low voltage error, so it has to be restaret manually, and that Victron Connect complains about inkompatible firmware.
NO terminators at VE.Bus
Ok
Maybe i have to RTFM
