Upgraded Cerbo GX Firmware Perhaps to Wrong One? Can't Access Now

I just updated my Cerbo GX firmware via USB stick. I downloaded venus-swu-einstein-20241104170247-v3.51.swu onto the USB and plugged it in.

I picked Einstein (perhaps wrongly) because the Cerbo GX is listed as “Einstein” on my network. So I assumed that was the one.

The Cerbo said new firmware was detected and has the button to click to start the firmware upgrade. I did that.

Now when I try to go to Venus.local I’m getting this error. Did I install the wrong firmware and, if so, is there a way to recover this Cerbo GX?

Have you tried to connect via IP Adress?

BTW wehre did you download the FW “Einstein”? My guess, it is wrong.

I have not tried to connect via IP address as I do not know it. I am connecting over WiFi directly to the Cerbo using the WiFi signal it puts out.

I downloaded the firmware from professional-victronenergy-com website.

It would have just shown no update found if it was the incorrect one.
Possibly the issue is related to the new GUI remote console.
When you connect to the cerbo WiFi (if you are not using lan) then Victron connect will show the remote console address

That was it…my Safari browser was the issue. Works with Firefox. Thank you!

As an aside, VictronConnect doesn’t see the Cerbo GX even when I’m connected to its WiFi signal.
