Downgrade Cerbo GX

Dear all,

I tried downgrade my Cerbo GX to version 2.60 via USB. I copied the .swu file to a USB drive and attempted the update. The update process was wrong, and now it won’t turn on (no led is on, wifi and Bluetooth does not work). I tried with a second GX unit and tried updating it to version 2.51 using a micro SD card (16 GB FAT32). I followed step 10.3.2 of the update manual ( 10. Firmware updates ), but the same thing happened. I need this version because I’m monitoring an installation from another manufacturer, and these are the only versions that correctly save historical data for consumption and generation. Do you know if the Cerbo can be recovered, and has anyone managed to perform this update?

We have another installation working perfect with Venus GX, and 2.60 version firmware.

Thank you so much, it worked! I previously tried with a different program, not Balena, and now I’ve tried with Balena and I’ve been able to recover the interface. Do you know which version 2.x works well with Cerbo?

Great to hear! Im on 3.64, but before i had 2.60 both are working fine for me
