I have a smoke/fire detector connected to one of the digital inputs of my Cerbo GX. Is there a way to remotely turn off the MultiPlus-II 3k/48V in case of fire alarm over the VEBus? It should work from NodeRed if there is no such hidden option in the base firmware. I would prefer not to install extra wiring between the cerbo and the Multi for this purpose.
I have a VEBus BMS and VE Smart batteries. I already use the /VebusSetChargeState path to force absorption occaisonally, but couldn’t find the equivalent for the overall operation mode of the Multi.
Do you have advices on what to do in case of fire alarm triggers on a small sailboat? The beeping of the Cerbo and the e-mail notification from VRM won’t help too much if I’m away from the boat, I guess. Disabling charging and cutting power to all AC loads can’t hurt in case of a possible electric fire on the boat, especially if left unattended, that’s why the original question.
