Hi, I am on a boat connected to shore power. I have recently noticed strange events that don’t make sense, namely simultaneous “Sustain” and “Inverting” as per the attached screenshot. Examination of other parameters indicate these events are happening at low AC loads, eg less than 500W, SOC is 100%, ripple less than 0.1V and there are no indications that anything else is untoward at the moment this type of event is presented. My equipment is Multiplus 12/3000/120-16, Firmware 556 working in Power Assist configuration. Thanks.
Might have something to do with the shore connection, not the battery or loads.
Usually a shirt switch to inverting means that is disconnected for some reason (might not even be voltage but harmoincs noise or short fluctuations in voltage, high inoedence)
Thanks for your suggestion, we have had one or two shore power outages recently and the Multiplus has behaved as expected, showing (only) Inverting for the period but not Sustain. I am more concerned about the presence of the Sustain event as I understand this would normally be due to low battery charge which is not the case here, the batteries are Victron AGM, 1 year old, monitored with a smart shunt and perform well when disconnected from shore power.
