How to declare a bug ? Multiplus-II entering wrongly in sustain mode (ESS)

Hi,

I think I have found a small bug in the Multiplus-2 ESS assistant, how to declare it to Victron ?

I set my MP-2 GX 48/3000 off during night (via MQTT victron/W/MULTIPLUS_SERIAL/vebus/275/Mode to “4”) and start it again in the morning at 6am when grid prices are high.

few times it refuses to start inverting and got stuck in “sustain mode” state with a “Low Battery L1” error visible on the VRM portal that not clears itself.
I had to shut off my Multiplus-2 GX with the power button and start it up again.

I had the default “Sustain voltage” value in the ESS assistant (50V) and the batt voltage was fine at that time (46% SoC - 52,6V, that is 3.2875V per cell for my 16S 280Ah LiFePO4 battery) with no voltage drop visible at all in the VRM history at the time it started

I think the MP-2 simply made a “false reading” of the battery voltage during startup, maybe even 0 volt for just a part of a second.
Perhaps Victron can make some simple improvements to the ESS assistant code to measure the voltage several times before switching the multiplus to “sustain” mode ?
or at least do something to allow the Multiplus to quickly exit this sustain mode without the need of an human action ?

As a workaround I slightly lowered the “Sustain Voltage” value to 48V while waiting to see if this behavior occurs again.

If I did something wrong please don’t hesitate to tell me how to improve my settings , if not please just tell me how to declare this behaviour to Victron.

Regards
