Solplanet inverter AC coupling

Hello Victron Community,

I am currently working on a system with Victron equipment: three MultiPlus/Quattro 48/5000 units configured in three-phase, controlled by a GX device (Venus OS). I would like to ask about AC coupling compatibility.

As far as I know, Victron officially supports AC coupling with Fronius PV inverters, using frequency-shift and Modbus communication for power control. My question is whether a Solplanet ASW 10K-LT-G2 Pro inverter could be integrated in a similar way.

- The Solplanet inverter supports Modbus communication (RS485/TCP).
- It can provide real-time AC output data and accept active power limit commands.
- In theory, this looks similar to the Fronius integration.

Has anyone tested Solplanet inverters with Victron AC coupling in a three-phase setup (3×48/5000)?
Is there any known limitation or reason why only Fronius is officially supported?
Would it be possible to use Solplanet via Modbus or only through frequency-shift control?

Any feedback or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Atiko

A shame no replies came. Did you every try it?

I would actually like to use a solplanet hybrid inverter to create a micro grid for my fronius primo (basically keeping my Fronius setup, adding a hybrid solplanet with battery and a few panels. The Solplanet hopefully keeping the fronius ‘alive’ and producing in a grid down situation). Any idea if that would work?
