Solar Power not Available after batteries are charged

System: 2500W of PV panels, 4 x 100-50 Smart Solar MPPT, Venus GX, Multiplus 12/3000 120-16, BMV 712 and Shunt, Smart Battery Protect 12/220, Battery Protect BP100, Lynx Power In 1000, 8 x 400Ah Winston Batteries in a 2P4S configuration giving a nominal 12v and 800Ah, 123SmartBMS gen 2. Completely off-grid. Completely off-grid on a canal boat.

123SmartBMS is configured as “critical",” Venus GX is set to DVCC with SVS and STS are enabled. BMV 712 manages the system. I do have the 2 wire assistant but that does not operate with the 123SmartBMS set to critical.

Question: The batteries are usually fully charged before midday. 230v Ac power is then delivered by battery discharge. I can have up to 2KW of solar power unavailable until the battery voltage drops to about 12.9v. While the batteries are charging I can use a lot of power eg, an electric oven, and they take all of the solar power with say 20-30A left over for charging. But when the batteries are charged all 230Vac must come from the batteries. Usually with the consequence that by the time the sun sets the batteries are low. With all of the versatility of this Victron system how can I continue to use the available solar power after the batteries are charged?

Are you using wind solar priority?

One idea i saw on a different thread was set the absorption time longer so the batteries are held at a higher voltage for longer. There are mixed feelings about the approach though.
