SOC Victron Connect / Smart Shunt

Hi folks. New here and very much a newbie.

Have 2x 240ah itech batteries, w victron smart shunt, and am using the victron connect app, and cross referencing occasionally w itech app.

This morning there was a glitch of some description where we went from being around 84% to 100% in 11 minutes according to vc app.

Itech app shows each battery singularly, and was showing around 60% and 100%.

Had a itech shunt and display, but it died and victron installed by auto elec in an ‘emergency’ some weeks back, when everything was at 100%

Attaching pics that will hopefully make sense
We are currently out in the middle of nowhere, off grid, with minimal knowledge
Thank gawd everything else is still working!!:rofl:

Tried uploading photos but it would only allow one so hoping the collage will at least show the %s and timestamps

Thanks, Sarah

Most likely still on default settings which can cause the SmartShunt to jump to 100% prematurely. There is a good write up in the DIY FAQ sticky post. Default 13.2V charged voltage needs increasing to 0.1-0.2V below absorption voltage on your charger.

Thankyou for that @pwfarnwell
I will go through the article slowly and see what I can learn.
Really appreciate your response. ◡̈
