SmartSolar MPPT — how to connect three, four, or more devices without using VE.Can?

Hello everyone,

I have a three-phase installation based on the MultiPlus-II.
The system includes ZYC Simpo 5000 batteries connected to the MultiPlus via the VE.Can interface.
In addition, I have a SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 connected to the MultiPlus via the VE.Direct interface.
I’m planning to expand the system by adding more MPPTs, and here is my question: how should I connect additional MPPTs to the MultiPlus?
One MPPT can be connected using a special USB-to-VE.Direct adapter, but what if I want to connect more MPPTs — three or four?
Would creating a network using VE.Smart be the right approach?

I guess the main MP2 has a GX device built in. Use a USB hub to add more USB ports

If you are using an internal GX, you can always disconnect it and add an external Cerbo instead.
