Charger failed after latest update! Since update, in float state, voltage slowly increases from 13.8 to over 15.5 volts. Switch off charger and then reconnect supply voltage, charger operates normally to Float at 13.8 volts but the voltage gradually increases (over about a 24 hour period) to 15.5 Volts. Charger is a Smart Blue 12/15. I have tested charger on alternate battery with same result. This is an IP65 charger. Defaults restored. Serial HQ2140DWRU3. Problem remains. Please suggest a solution. Why not make the files available to return to the previous version?
Is there an absorption time set? Maby lower that?
Thanks for the reply but there is no absorption time set.
Return it to your supplier, it appears to be leaking current when it should have stopped, which is a fault.
Thank you for your reply.
I guessed that it was a hardware fault but its so coincidental that the problem occurred simultaneously with a software update.
If there was a software solution it would be great because I am presently more than 1800km from the original supplier.
Looks like I am simply going to have to purchase an alternate before I also damage the battery.
