On the Overview page the names of Devices is use are still based on their function not based on their given Name. As mentioned before, devices in use can have complete other functions than listed in the Victron setup list.
On the overview pages, the levels are over the complete service, they are not individual tanks. To explain, many boats have 2 fuel tanks, perhaps called “Diesel Port” and “Diesel Starboard”. On the overview page, the Fuel line will add up both the fuel tanks, hence it can not use individual tank names. If you only have single tanks then you may not realise this.
You are right, I didn’t know this. It makes sense to give an overview, or complete service as you say, of the same functions when it are multiple fresh water tanks, diesel tanks etc. But I am talking about a single device/function and used for a completely different thing like showing current water pressure and fertilizer tank level. Even when I have two fertilizer tanks I would not like to see the accumulated amount. When there is only one device of a specific functionality it would be nice to show the given name. In my case fertilizer level and water pressure. As a Avocado farmer I am using victron power in a remote location for watering trees.
