Sizing of Isolation Tranformer

Hello all,

I am in the process of installing a 48 volt 8000 watt Quattro inverter/charger. I need an isolation transformer to protect from galvanic corrosion. Victron’s Isolation Transformers max out at 7000w.

What is the simplest solution to ensure the transformer can push enough power to the Quattro?

The 8000 Quattro is not 8000W, it is 8000VA and rated at 6,400W, check the datasheet. Use the 7000W transformer and make sure the input ac current limit is set to suit.
