Signal K - N2k traffic on Ekrano problems

Hey,

I’m running an Ekrano GX FW v3.42 on our boat - with NodeRed + Signal K installed.

But the Signal K is causing issues.

  1. Signal-K loose connection to the N2k network occasionally. (Ekrano still see devices) - and then to get it back online - I have to switch off power to Ekrano to get it back again. Reboot of Signal-K does not work. Reboot of Ekrano from System panel does not work. But it works after a full power-off.
  2. If I update Signal-K plugin’s and restart Signal-K - as above N2k connection is lost. Only way to get it back is via a full power-off.
  3. Signal-K will not update some App/Plugins (signalk-venus-plugin & signalk-n2kais-to-nmea0183) - in the UI it shows it is updating but post reboot - it is back to the old versions (1.37.0 and 1.4.0 respectively). Other plugins update fine.

The UI on Signal K dashboard - does not show any “input / output” on the can P1 - but says it is connected.

Some signalk plugins are only updated with Cerbo update. Beta version of the firmware has latest SignalK and also most plugins are up-to-date. Not sure when this beta will be released as stable.

Hi @mpvader - I have not had time to look at it for a while - so last I looked before Christmas - no. But I’ll be down on the boat this weekend and I’ll update to latest and see what happens. :slight_smile:
