Second Battery also with Lynx Shunt?

Good morning!

I‘m new here and to Victron and I‘m currently planning my setup for our boat. I wonder if the Lynx shunt can also monitor a second battery (starter battery)?

The Smart shunt can either monitor two batteries or measure the temperature in addition. The Lynx shunt has also a thermometer. Can that input also be used to monitor a second battery somehow?

If you want the second battery info.on the GX device / VRM add a SmartShunt for the second battery. You.only need 1 positive wire and one negative for Voltage, no need to wire the heavy duty current through it.

If you have a SmartShunt measuring DC loads use the aux measurement from that. This is what I have done on my Lynx BMS as that does not measure a second battery either.

If you only want to monitor voltage from phone on the VictronConnect app then use a Smart Battery Sense.
