First of all, there is nothing to be said against it.
It is only a voltage measurement at the additional input. However, note the common connection of the “minus” of the load output and the additional battery.
If you only want to monitor the voltage, take a “Victron Smart battery sense” for a fraction of the cost.
I think the Smartshunt is already in the system to measure the 48V.

The problem is that Smart battery sense is VE.Smart Network only.
If using the Cerbo GX the VE.Smart Network is not an option
