Interfaces on the MultiPlus Compact

Hello everyone!

I recently bought a used MultiPlus Compact 12/1600/70-16 230V inverter/charger for our motorhome.
I would like to operate, adjust and configure the device wirelessly via a tablet/app.
I’m now having some difficulty with the information on this subject in the manual in the manual.
It mentions various interfaces, cables and software products.

I opened up the device and found two RJ45 sockets, a pin/jumper header without any jumpers, and an 8-way DIP switch on the topmost circuit board.
The manual only describes the DIP switch settings; there is no information about the RJ45 sockets or where to find the connection for the VE.Bus mentioned in the manual.

Mr Google and ChatGPT haven’t been much help either.

So here are my questions:

  • Is there an adapter that makes the inverter Bluetooth-enabled, for example? How and where is it connected, and which software/app is required?
  • Is there a control panel/display that can be used to change settings and retrieve information, and how and where is it connected?

@Tuffi The only wireless option that will allow limited monitoring and control functionality is the ve.bus smart dongle. (connects to the RJ45 ve.bus via standard rj45 urp cable. Depending on the firmware version, you may need a MK3 dongle to update the firmware to a compatible level for VictronConnect first. You can also connect the MK3 dongle with usb-c to your mobile if the Compact meets the VictronConnect app requirements and update firmware and change setting. To my best of knowledge, Bluetooth is still not used for any inverter setup at this point.
