I am struggling with a returning problem with my mppt 75/10. (Stuurboord)
Both are installed on our sailing boat and are connected to a 110w solar panel. Each mppt 75/10 is connected to one solarpanel.
I have linked te mppt’s via the app for smart networking.
Since the beginning one of the mppt’s is turned off every now and then and I can’t connect to it in the app. Also the lights are all off.
If it suddenly turns on again, the lights will blink and i can connect again and read the data via the app.
After this mppt was turned off again for several days I replaced it with a new one. This new mppt is showing the same problems. It’s only the mppt that I renamed to “stuurboord” bakboord always works just fine.
When I measure the voltage of the battery connectors and the pv connectors they both show the right readings. But the mppt does not turn on.
When it’s off it does show in my app where it says it’s off but I can’t connect with it.
According to the manuals it’s broken but how can it turn on every now and then and why does this happen to the first and the second mppt within months?
The photo that is showing the different voltige on te “bakboord” and the “stuurboord” mppt is a photo taken while the boat was connected to the 230v battery charger. The data that is displayed on the “stuurboord” mppt is at least 2 days old.
