I have been using RemoteGPIO with the external relay board succesfully on multiple installations. Our supplier has stopped dealing the regular Cerbo GX and replaced it with the Cerbo GX MK2. All of the sudden the digital inputs start behaving strange. I have attached a video where you can see this behavior.
The relays of the external relay board work fine. From the moment one or more digital inputs from the relay board is activated, the digital inputs from the Cerbo itself start switching between high and not connected. The digital inputs of the external relay board do not appear in the device list.
I suspect that it is due to the MK2 because I redid the installation with another Cerbo MK2 paying attention that everything was exactly the same as with all the other installations with regular Cerbo GX’s, including the versions of RemoteGPIO, Guimods etc.
Can anyone help with this problem? Does RemoteGPIO need to be updated to function on the Cerbo MK2?
Hi, I’m the developer of RemoteGPIO and this is more likely an issue with how Digital Inputs are numbered in the new Cerbo GX MK2 and will require a fix on RemoteGPIO.
That’s not going to be easy as I have no access to a MK2.
