Node Red added functions for Cerbo

I’m fairly new to Victron so I hope this question won’t sound silly.

I have almost used all relays and IO ports in both Cerbo GX and Multiplus II so I am wondering if would it be possible to collect data from GX (battery SOC, temperatures etc) into Node-Red and use external custom relays & IO in conjunction with adequate hardware?
