“We have problem ESS 3-Phase thats the MPPT stop produce energy when battery full”
Are the AC and/or DC feeds enabled and/or limited in the ESS menu?
What additional Mppt are you using? It’s not in your list …
At full PV output, your multi could not feed in any more if you only have 3x5000 multis … the 17kw Pv at the AC Out is actually already too much according to the 1:1 rule. However, I assume that the PV output here will be less than 17kw.
SolarEdge SE17K 17kw AC cupled, and Feed in exes is enable
MPPT 100/20 DC cupled, Feed in exes is enable
MPPT 250/100 DC cupled, feed in exas is enable
Limit 17kw feed in total, (limit feed in reports yes always even if no feed in)
Even if solaredge produce 8kw when battery is full the victron mppts stops produce and start some time if load is bigger than solaredge produce.
The problem is it works fine this week but only today it stops produce when battery is full.
The only thing i noticed is that both MPPTs reported BMS controlled charge voltage 56v the days it worka it reports charge voltage 60v
Even if BMS change charge voltage to 54-56v other days the mppt tells BMS controlled Yes charge voltage 60v and it feed in exess power to grid like i want.
Both MPPT is connected with VE.Direct becuse the 250/100 wont work with VE.Can corectly.
It could be that your charging voltage from the Multi itself … i.e. AC to DC is set too high. If the feed-in to the grid is now running, your MPPTs will not be able to exceed this charging voltage … so they shut down because they cannot “get through the multi” in terms of the DC voltage
You could try reducing the “Charger” settings via VE Configure. Then the DC charging voltages of the Mppt would be higher than those of the Multi and they could work in peace.
The CVL limit you see above is the voltage limit of the battery itself. However, the Multi / Charger does not care about this and charges beyond this … which could be dangerous for the batteries. You MUST therefore stay below this value with the charger setting. The Mppts are then increased by 0.4 V when fed into the mains in order to provide a stable supply.
Lower your charger voltage in VE Configure and the other voltages below the CVL limit …
All site in my dashboard have same problem NO feed in excess DC-PV to Grid even if same settings as before.
Some Cerbo GX runs v3.60~47 and some v3.60~48 same problem on both.
If i set “Grid setpoint” -1000W the MPPT will start produce 1000w more and export.
Something thats controll the cerbo from Victron becuse no settings is changed on any site.
It is important to disclose betas are being used, Q&A isn’t really for those queries. Please load production software and verify if the behaviour changes at all. If it works fine on production software, then you can open an issue on the beta section.
Running betas when they inherently have issues is always a risk, they aren’t intended for production systems.
