I have Victron Multiplus 2 GX and problem is remote console settings. When I change settings so new settings are in use max couple of days and then it go back to previous set. Sometimes it takes only few hours before that this happens. What could be the problem. Usually this happens when I try change ESS inverter power limit? I have newest firmware but same problem was old firmware 3.33 too.
Am I only who have this issue? I have done all what I can do but remote console forgot settings after couple of hours. Is my GX device faulty or can this issue root cause be some other things?
I think that we speak different things. Did you mean remote use of VE Configure? This need load, edit and send process. I have use many Victron GX products and only this one installation is which not save remote console settings.
Perhaps upload a screencapture that shows the problem.
For example if I activating inverter power limit and set values so after couple of hours it is unactivated again. This is only one example. Same happens all of settings. Is not matter use I new or old remote console version.
Have you checked the logs to see if the gx is rebooting? Do you have a reboot after communications loss set?
I have done manual reboot, but situation is same after that.
I think that system boot itself and it is part of this problem. How I can see log where is system reboots?
Ssh to the gx. If you have a reboot set for vrm on the gx, start by disabling that. You’re probably losing networking and the gx is restarting itself.
I have disabled “reboot device when no contact” option. If Victron does restarts I don’t know why this happens.
I can’t make SSH connect now because I am not same please than this installation, but I will do that when I can. What command I must do that I can see reboot log?
