Remote configuration on Victron Quattro through VRM stopped working

Hi, My system stopped updating through the remote configuration option.
I have previously mentionted that after a configuration update the inverter did not switch on - I had to physically disconnect the VE-Bus Cable and then inverter switched on.

When I tried the remote VEconfig tool this morning to make some changes on my system - it seems that Cerbo rebooted during the process and the changes failed.

I have the latest version 3.60 on the cerbo and 556 on the inverter - which I just upgraded from previous version.

This is probably another topic but I have also noticed that when the grid is disconnected that my Fronius is giving me a 105 error and does not connect. (Fronius on AC-Out 1) When grid connection established Fronius is working fine
Any help?

I was able to use the MK3 device to do configuration on inverter

Want is the configuration?
Sometimes its best not to keep updating firmware.

How is the fronius configured? Did you set the controlling priorities?

That last time you chaged things iver the vrm did someone on site switch off the fronius while the config or update was in progress?

Good Morning,

In have a 15kVA Quattro, this is connected to a Smart solar mppt 450/200, and a Victron EV Charger.

I have a 600Ah Freedom won battery and use the Victron GX 140 tank monitor.

The Fronius is connected to AC -Out 1. I had it working like that for 2 years no problem.

However, this system is my playground, and I test solutions on it that I can potentially implement for my clients.

Hence me also participating with the beta program as I test the enhancements etc.

I use all the programable relays in the inverter to control my loads based on SOC.

Thus, I alter the Programmable relay assistants to suite my needs often and to test out new configurations.

This is how I noticed the issues and was hoping that it could be investigated – not sure if I have reported it on community Venus OS 3.60?

Hallo, I have send you a e-mail - I fyou need access to have a look at the logs you are welcome

Hi @jvdspoel i am a volunteer here, so its not likely to be sent to me directly.
The switchboard is neat!

Fronius should always be powered off when changing a config on a system or updating. (Safety) Particularly for when things go wrong.

Are you still on beta or the normal release 3.6?

Hi Thanks, I am currently running version 3.60. with Fronius I normally disconnect it. Yesterday I have turned supply of as well as pv and left it for 3 min. It came back on after I reconnected the grid. For additional info, I was testing the general flag assistant to ignore grid if SOC>25. I also wanted to use relay 2 on cerbo to override the flag using aux 1 on the inverter. That was when I picked up the Fronius error 105.
I appreciate your help

Are you using ESS assistant or PV inverter assist?
