Reboot loop

After installing the newest firmware my Cerbo GX is in a reboot loop.
The Cebo is booting over and over and doesn’t stop.
There is noway to take it over.
I have made a usb-stick with the recovery file on it but thats no helpful.
Anybody the same issue or solution?
Thanks in advance.

Disconnect everything but power see if that helps.
Double check you have used the right file and the usb is the right format - the process is documented in the manual.
Was the GX a default installation or had any mods been installed?

I have done everything you suggest but noting helps.
Power on and after 7 seconds a reboot.
The only mod I have is dbus-serialbattery

Hi, the procedure you need the execute is called Venus OS re-install. Not reset to factory defaults.

I did everything the manual says for a reinstall but de cerbo has no time to boot from sd because before that I got the reboot again.

Oke, he is back online
I removed the sdcard and thats it.
But now my touch 70 got a blank screen.
Also remote console in VRM is blank.

Ok good.

That is impossible: when that sdcard is in, it boots from that.

Thats unexpected. Which Venus OS re-install version did you use?

3.62
But still no remote console display, just a white screen.

If you open a remote console, go to settings, general, modifications/support status.
What does this screen report?

When I open a remote console my screen is just white.
So I can’t do anything insite remote console.

The most common cause with similar reports has always been modifications loaded on the GX that are not compatible, gui mods was a big culprit, but there are plenty of others.
In those cases, mods needed to be updated or removed, which is possible if you still have ssh access.
If not you will need to reinstall the venus OS as referenced above.

I’m quite sure that all mods are gone after doing such a re-install.

Everything is wiped.

And if you go to https://venus.local>/gui-v2 in a webbrowser on the same network?

If that doesn’t help, then one of us will do the same thing next week and see if we can reproduce this.

Agree, just wasn’t clear if it actually reinstalled. And without access, just raising the possibilities. And unsure if this refers to original or new UI.

@nickdb Yes I see now, you’re right, its not clear if it succeeded.

@Reivis is this the system you’re having trouble with called Cerbo Barco?

On VRM I can access it, and data partition is full or almost full (either way, thats a problem) & mods are still installed.

If that is the same system that you’re referencing above, then the Venus OS reinstall hasn’t been succesfull.

Solution is to follow those instructions more closely, ie prepping the sd card with Balena etcher and so forth
