Pylontech+Lynx

Hello all. I just had a fuse blow. It turns out I’m a bit useless. I built the Pylontech rack as per instructions, using the 2m 100a cables with a 125a megafuse. Oddly enough, when night-time consumption peaked at 7.5kW it popped.

I currently have my 6 us3000c connected to busbars and it’s not pretty. I’m thinking maybe I should replace it all with a Lynx and separate the batteries into 2 banks with independent cables. I have 2 mppts, a Quattro 8kva and CCGX etc. Would this seem sensible? I believe the Lynx will tell me if a fuse blows and will look after all the busbar stuff. I assume there will be enough connectivity? Opinions please? Thanks.

As far as I’m aware you need a smart shunt in order to see the fuse blown on the Lynx distro, yep I would separate the pack I have all mine run individually

It’s all looking a tad costly. I’m just thinking, what’s the likelihood of a fuse blowing? Probably so tiny that maybe I’ll just get a fused busbar.

Yeah can do I just like the cleanness of the Victron Lynx gear
