PV + Batteries not discharging to House Loads on grid connected system

Hello,

Been having some trouble with a Victron system that is Grid Connected and the batteries not wanting to discharge to the house loads. We have 6 x Fogstar Batteries, Multi RS Solar with AC connected to AC-IN, and a MPPT RS with 2 strings of PV connected to it. These all connect to a Cerbo GX and all devices are found on the CGX, we have a Meter installed which is the VM-3P75CT.

The CGX Reads Grid and AC Loads, the batteries read on the CGX and the Solar too, but the batteries and PV for whatever reason does not discharge to the house loads, the battery will force charge from the Grid when set to charge batteries fine but once turned back to Optimized with battery life it goes back to idle and doesn’t discharge to the loads.

We recently went back to do some more tests and connected a Load to the AC-Out-1 port of the RS inverter, turning on a Toaster the batteries and PV instantly started discharging to cover that load which showed on the CGX as it should do, but once we turned this off the batteries stopped discharging to that “Critical Load” section and went back to being Idle.

If anyone could help out or suggest some things that may be the issue that would be great as getting no where with this, Batteries have been checked several times and have Discharging and Charging enabled, and we have proven that the batteries will discharge with that Internal AC-OUT load. Could this be an issue with the Victron Meter we are using? DESPITE the batteries force charging from the Grid, just for whatever reason we cannot get the batteries to discharge to the AC Load.

Try turning off optimised with battery life, this trys to maintain battery to 100% on a daily basis.

I would like to add: batterylife can be used,

but what is the minimum SOC set? if its too high batterlife can be the problem yes

Have tried all of the settings and it still doesn’t seem to discharge, it force chargers when the ESS “Keep Battery Charged” is enabled, and the battery discharges on Optimised with battery life when there is an internal load wired individually into the inverters AC-OUT port. But when taking this back out it goes back to idle and not discharging to the 500w house load.
The min SOC for the Fogstar is set to 25%.

Optimised with BatteryLife and the Minimum SOC is set to 25%

Here are some Pictures

Do i understand that ac out is not connected and you are using the system grid parralel?

What is the grid setpoint?

Is grid feed in on?

Yes AC IN is the only terminal in the RS Inverter being used, it has Grid AC going to it from the Generation Meter and Isolator beside, then from there the cable goes to the main CU where it has a breaker.

In your picture you have ac loads position on ac in and output, should be input only

Is the grid meter correctly configured?

There is no option for that?

You are right, I think you have a different venus OS version, i dont have that option at all i just see

Is ac out in use turned off in ess menu?

On Victron Connect there is nothing on ESS apart from Minimum Discharge SOC which is set to 20% and the Optimized with battery life, I have some more pictures if that helps, battery still sat at 99/100% not discharging!
