Looks like VRM DESS shows prices with incorrect timings. Perhaps DESS also plans incorrectly because of this?
Here are my DESS buy price settings:
VRM renders them changing at 6:30 and 21:30.
This problem exists in the betavrm as well.
I added a DESS charging restriction from 21-22 to temporarily avoid the issue.
Since yesterday i am searching for daily cost/earnings differences between DESS and my energy supplier. Before that time it was almost exactly the same every day.
Maybe this is related to this topic. At first i thought vrm was calculating with hour average instead of 15min prices. But when there is a time offset it also calculates wrong. But is does plan perfectly on 15min.

Just a guess, but it could be related to daylight saving time….. the change does not happen on the same date for all countries….

I could understand 1 hour offset because of DST related bugs but 30 minutes is just weird.
BTW I added a charge restriction in DESS from 21-22 and VRM DESS still planned to charge from 21:30 onwards. My system also executed the plan. This further confirms that something is broken in the timings.
You’re right and I totally overlooked these 30min for some reason….. sorry for that!
But look: I was able to replicate your problem meanwhile! So you’re not the only one…

No worries. Thank you for testing! I believe this also gives @dognose and other DESS devs a valuable data point.
Thanks for reporting. 15 min prices broke some of the logic in place for fixed pricing. That should be fixed now.
