Some photos of our Outdoor PowerHub hybrid ESS Solution from a recent installation. We fabricate, fit out, configure and test in-house before delivery to site.
Photos are of a small Commercial 24kVA 3-phase ESS installed under G99, grid parallel only. Backup AC-Out not used in this one.
Outdoor IP56 PCS enclosure which contains 3 x Multi-plus II inverter/chargers, MPPT controller(s) and distribution panels and switchgear
Outdoor IP65 Battery Stack enclosure houses upto 8 x Pylontech US5000 modules, 38.4kwh. Insulated and thermally managed with Air Source Heat Pump cooling and heating for optimal battery performance and longevity.
Rear of battery stack enclosures. Each pair of Pylontech US5000 wired using Pylontechs supplied 25mm2 cable set, fused at 100A. Battery pairs then combined into Victron Lynx Power In busbar module which then connects to a main NH2 400A switch fuse that supplies system via the Lynx Class T Power In.
The Air Conditioners we also got manufactured by a specialist in this field to our requirements to fit the cabinets.
The spec of the one fitted has 220W of Cooling capacity and 220W of heating capacity. Electrical consumption @ 48Vdc less than 90W. Compressor driven.
The ones we have used to date do have R134a refrigerant which is being phased out/banned in the EU. We are liaising with the manufacturer to see if an alternative refrigerant can be used without major modifications on new stocks.
Some photos of another similar build completed and configured for small Commercial site.
3 x MPII 8000 configured as 3-Phase 24kVA 19.2kW
2 x Smart RS 200 MPPT controllers
Lynx DC Busbar power in & distribution including lynx class T for batteries (each fuse 20kA Interrupt capability)
NH00 125Vdc 2P switch fuse isolators for each device (positive fused & switched only)
Setup Configured as ESS grid parallel self consumption with AC Out 2 used for UPS/backup. Separate AC distribution/combiner panels for each. T2 surge protection device and 300mA Type A RCD fitted on grid In/out to comply with local regulations and installation method.
