I am working on a CerboGX controlled system with a Multiplus 12/2000/80, WakeSpeed 500 and SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 charging 780 amp hours of Discover AES LeFePo batteries. All of the charging sources listed above are networked to the Cerbo, and are under the “external control” of the CerboGX, which has DVCC enabled (forced on). When running the generator, the Multiplus is not outputting 80 amps to charge the batteries: it generally charges the batteries at about 50 amps, regardless of the other DC loads on the system (primarily refrigeration). In contrast, the engine driven alternator controlled by the WakeSpeed 500 will happily charge the batteries at over 100 amps, so the batteries are not limiting the charge rate. The firmware for both the Multiplus and the Cerbo are current. The DVCC charge limit is set to 150 amps. The charge rate of the Multiplus is set to 80 amps. I believe that this is a bug in the Cerbo’s firmware. Thoughts?
How did you set this?
Also the 80A is at 25 degrees C, what temperatures are you seeing?
