Hi I’m new here… Iv been using victron stuff for about 15 years in many off grid projects. Like small (300 people) 100 percent solar powered music stages. So if you have any questions about this I can help.
Ive got an odd thing happening with my 12/3000 phoenix inverter I think its year 2000 model.(old model)
I got the inverter green light flashing and a constant red overload light on.
There is no load on the inverter.
I fully disconnected it and disconnected my ac cable thinking there might be a short in my cable.
my cable was good.
Then I measured across the earth neutral and positive ac terminals in the inverter and they are all connected? I mean all connected together???
I have no clue what’s going on here.
I can send a current across from positive to negative to neutral with my multi meter.
It seams like a short but nothing is burnt wiring looks as new. Its clean and moisture free.
My question is :Has the inverter gone in to a locked in a safe mode due to another problem or has the unite just failed in some bizarre manner.
I have an either net cable to try and find a error code but seems I have to order a V.E. converter to connect to the phoenix.
Help please/// Thankyou!!
