I have 12V/50A Orions connected to my two Victron starter batteries (receiving input power from 2024 Yamaha 250HP)and then to one of my Lynx distributors and Smart BMS. An another Lynx distributor has four Victron 12v/330ah LiFePo4 batteries connected. The problem is that it appears that the Orions are receiving input power but not sending to the distributors - or at least it appears thats the case. This is a brand new installation (me) and while it could be an install issue, it seems that input power from screenshot and LED lights (green solid) make it seem OK. Looking for troubleshooting suggestions or input. Including some screenshot to help diagnose. Thanks in
your battery voltage at 14.2 is higher than the charged voltage of 14.0. This is probably causing the Orion’s to idle. try putting a load on the batteries to bring the voltage down to 13 and try again.
@MikeD not that, the charged voltage in the Lynx BMS is only for sync to 100% like in a SmartShunt, no control action. 14.2V absorb, 13.5V float are not user configurable.
My guess is you have a poor connection somewhere between the output of the Orions and the batteries. The Orions are outputting 14.2V under BMS control as the absorption voltage from the BMS so these are working correctly. However, your batteries are showing 13.13V on the BMS and the solar controllers are agreeing with this. The only logical conclusion from this is that you have a disconnect or high resistance in your wiring, fusing, isolators or breakers on the Orion outputs. Get you multimeter out and look for the change between 13.1 and 14.2V.
