Daily battery voltage drop after Orion install

I have a 12v system with 400Ah of lithium batteries. I had to replace my car battery recently and after I did that, I installed the connections for the orion 12/12 30 charger with 6awg wire running about 12’. At first I did not notice that it was in power supply mode and each night my lithium battery would drain to near-zero volts. I changed the setting to charging mode with engine detect.

But the battery voltage is still dropping. Smart shunt says the charge is near 100% and it only discharged 1Ah.

It seems like the problem is related to the Orion. I am going to disconnect it and see if I still have the issue. But could it be that the time in “power supply” killed my batteries? Or is there a setting I am missing that would fix this? Would loose connections cause this? There is not much power draw going on.

Unfortunately, we don’t have enough information to help you diagnose if your batteries are toast.

Can you describe your system. Battery types and capacity, what is the input and output of the orion? On which battery bank is the smartshunt connected? You mention 1Ah discharged, but the graph provided shows a lot more than that…

Try to give us a good overall description of your system and specific questions.

Batteries: 2x12v 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries in parallel

Orion input/output: see screenshots

Smartshunt - there’s only one bank

Discharge - the 1 Ah was from yesterday and the screenshot i posted was showing the voltage drop from the day before. Posted a new screenshot where only 4ah were used yesterday and the battery voltage still nosedived.

System:
2x200Ah batteries in parallel (4/0 wire)
600W solar + MPPT 100|30 (6awg)
Lynx distributor
Multiplus ii 2x120
Orion 12/12-30 (6awg)
Bluesea 6006 switch (that doesn’t seem to completely cut off power when in off)
12v system

Is the smartshunt monitoring the start or house batter?
Is the DC-DC charger from the house to the start or the opposite (what is connected to the input and output)?

Can you show us exactly how the smarshunt is wired ? Pictures? Wiring diagram?
