Hello everyone, this is my first post on the community.
We are experiencing some problems on a very comples installation.
All is working fine, but our Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger Isolated from 24V on the motorhome, to 48V onlithium Pylontech is not charging. Even when the battery is under 85%.
We like to have the battery full while the motorhome is running.
Pylontech use only 15S packs, your charge voltage is therefore too high. Check the Victron Pylontech manual, i would treat the Orion like an MPPT in this instance
Is the Orion connected over VE.direct to the GX device? Have you set up DVCC?
Do you use a SmartShunt, is the SOC coming from that? 52.6V is fairly well charged for the 15S pack
Ah yeah, i keep forgetting that, im so used to the XS by now. But then at least wire the Orions remote on/off to the pylontechs ATC relay, so that the battery can stop a charge when necessary
