I have an Orion -Tr Smart 12v/12v-30a non-isolated that has been installed and working great for a few years. At some point, it started to not recognize the manual switched input. The rig has more than enough solar to only use my dc-dc charger in rare situations, so I normally leave it turned off. However, it no longer cares what my manual switch says to do. I would like my manual control back.
I have tested the switch and it is in fact opening the circuit when off, and the source of 12v power also turns on/off properly (ignition source). I currently have the green plug completely disconnected and the unit still automatically turns on when the rig is running or starting batteries are at charging voltage. I have tried resetting factory defaults, turning on/off Engine Shutdown Detection. Nothing affects this issue.
I am assuming that maybe a software update changed something? V1.13

I have been using and installing Victron products for years with no issues. Twenty years in the 12v world and professional camper van builder. Funny that I finally have a problem, and it is in my own rig…. At least a customer is not waiting for an answer.
