2x10k (16Kw) multi-plus 2 in parallel grid connected
This is needed to run site load off 120kw battery
National grid will only allow a 12kw inverter
Limited to 6kw export due to voltage rise risk
But I need min 16kw to be able to run in island mode
Any thoughts
i Would try to talk to them direct and put across your requirements, You single pahse, heat pump charger solar looped suppley i can see them worring about that massive bank of batteries going to the grid normally its just the export limit, i just got mine increased to an extra 1.5kW on the PV taking the overall export to 14kW but with all of it behind the invereter they know my max export is 8kW as per inverter limitation. Are you putting forward the proposal or is there an installer?
I guess this rule is older then your installation, so just comply with them.
