I have an Orion TR 48 DC/DC Isolated converter. The power light is not lit but when I measure, I have voltage on both the 48 and 12v sides. Am I reading 12v because the batteries are attached and powering the output side of the converter wire or is this power from the converter? If I am not measuring battery power on the 12v side, I’m guessing the converter isn’t working.
Hi Duncan,
If that light is off, then it shouldn’t be working.
You must have a wire jumper (or a start circuit) across the Remote ports for it to be active.
I have a similar issue, but I’ve checked my jumper and it’s firmly in place and has continuity across the terminals.
I have an Orion-Tr 24/12-30. I have 26 VDC in and no voltage on the output. The only thing connected to the output is an open disconnect.
Any thoughts?
