Hope someone has an idea. I have a 3 years old TR 48/24-16 dc to dc converter. It has just been sitting in a protected space. Never used. Complete electrical rip out and rebuild on a boat. Gave it power for the first time today and the green light is on and 52.3 volts goi g into the input side. But, there is no power coming out of the outlet side. I have no clue how to troubleshoot this. Could it be something mis-wired downstream that is causing this issue? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
Is the small two-pin connector still on the unit? It is bridged from the factory, if you remove it, or if it gets lost over time, the Orion will not turn on
It might also be remote terminals that need to be bridged
Thanks for that. Rookie error. You were correct. The converter powers up after I put in the connector and bridge. But I now have a different problem, with the next unit in the chain, an Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-17A (400W) Isolated DC-DC charger.
There is power going into the charger from the 48v to 24v converter, at 26.03v, and, I might add, when I measure voltage it shows 24 volts going out of the charger. However, no lights on, blue or green, and when I open VictronConnect on my iPhone it is not connecting to the charger. Doesn’t see it. I have, twice, followed the instructions to get it going: removing the remote connector with the wire bridge and then installing the inputs (I assume with power going into the charger) and then open up VictronConnect. I get nothing after doing that. I have followed all the rules and steps in troubleshooting about what to do and what not to do. I turned my Phone off and on and even deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still nothing. Just not pairing. Any ideas what else I could try or any ideas about what might be causing it? Thanks so much.
