I am having a lot of issues configuring my 24v easysolar. Having connected to the remote console via ethernet I am unable to access any settings for either the invertor or the mppt. The devices are present in my device list but no cog icon or any drop down or sub menu to configure. The chat bot tells me that maybe I only have guest access and not admin access is this possible with a brand new unit? The process described to resolve this ie. Connecting a monitor and keyboard directly to the easysolar seems complicated and not something I should have to do. I have tried amending the URL to venus.local/login but can not open a login screen. Help much appreciated.
Please don’t use a chatbot, they are hopeless.
You need to read the product manuals and follow the free online training before trying to install these products.
There is no cog.
You don’t configure them via the console.
You need to use victron connect or veconfigure via a mk3 USB adapter or via remote veconfigure.
All of these processes are documented and easily found online.
Hi nick, are you telling me I can’t even set basic bulk absorbtion float via the remote console? I understand full configuration must be done via veconfigure
All configuration is done via the methods I have stated. This is clearly documented.

Since you have a GX it can be done over the VRM and using ve config, which is a windows based program.
To do it with an mk3 locally ( and a laptop/phone using Victron connect for basics)
