Newly installed Multiplus ii Output 1 low voltage

Issue: Turning on Multiplus ii, Inverter on, voltage only 270 mV measured at AC out 1 terminals. Battery voltage at 13.8 V and measuring fine at inverter connections.

Please help! There are such limited resources online about this.

I am testing a newly installed Multiplus ii - I have two SOK 315 A batteries in parallel that have been working fine with the DC system. I turn the inverter on in Inverter mode, no blown fuses, 13.8 V at inverter connections from batteries, ground is connected, and AC OUT 1 is measuring only 270 mV directly pushing the multimeter into the connector hot and neutral. I see this same voltage at distribution panel and outlets.

I followed battery manual and instructions for configuring the inverter correctly, so I don’t think there is a problem there.

Any ideas?

Which model multiplus?
If it has an internal fuse, then check that. Try with no wiring connected to any AC port. If you configured the unit you have a Mk3 adapter, so try resetting to factory defaults, just in case you have something strange in your config.
