Multiplus II not inverting

I’ve recently installed the Multiplus II in my RV and the inverter does not appear to be working as expected.

The AC pass through works well - shore power or generator passes through to AC out 1 and I get power at my outlets.

When I turn the generator off, the inverter light turns green on the Multiplus as expected, but I do not get power at the outlets.

I’ve connected via the CerboGX on wifi and it says the inverter is on and outputting AC (but only 9W so thinking that’s just internal power or something). I’ve measured the DC input voltage at the Multiplus and getting about 13.2 volts from my 600ah lipo battery bank. The app also says it’s getting 13.19 volts DC in.

When I measure AC voltage on the AC out 1, my multimeter starts around 160v on both L1 or L2 then slowly drops the longer I hold the multimeter there. I remove the multimeter and wait a few seconds, measure again, and it’s jumped back up to 160ish volts and starts dropping again. This makes me think it’s just floating and not actually generating AC power.

Any help is appreciated !

Do you have AES enabled? If you do then a larger load (depends on programming) should trigger it to come out of low power mode.

When the generator is on, is it charging?

What is the switch position? Check that it is not in charger only or off.
You mentioned the GX says it is on, it can be physically on and off on the gx itself as well. just mentioning it. I think is is more likely AES.

Hey thanks for the response. Turns out the neutral wire just wasn’t inserted far enough in!

Glad it was something simple.
