absolutely, just making sure it’s not unique to my older revision Lenovo Tab M8 is all,
thanks for responding
Same here!
So far I could install the app on my tablet but now it is asking for the password and I forgot .How do I reset the password?? Can’t find it.
I have now tried the installation multiple times from the QR code from three separate internet sources (Starlink, cellular modem, and cell phone hotspot). It failed in the exact same way each time.
What can cause this installation to fail saying “Can’t update device Couldn’t install the admin app”??? I am a Victron certified professional installer and would like to make this work so I can offer it as an option to my customers, but so far I can’t even get the software to install on my brand new Android tablet purchased specifically to test this functionality.
Is it me or where can I disable the Screen Timout?
It looks like I can only choose from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. But what if I want the display always on?
Could it be possible to add a list with confirmed working devices?
I am planning to implement a phone or mini tablet as dedicated GX Wi-Fi Display nest boating season. I am thinking of finding a device during black week…
Google for your tablet model + “Recovery mode”. Recovery mode is a special Android menu that allows you to perform a factory reset.
Open the service menu, below the Display settings button, there is a toggle to keep display always on.
Let us know tablet model and Android version.
We can’t find specs information about that tablet. Can you installs CPU-Z or similar software and let us know which kind of CPU it has? (arm 32bit or 64bit…)
I’m having the same problem as Chad. My Lenovo Tab M7 is running Android Go (Android 9.0) on a MediaTek MT8321 ARM Cortex 32 bit processor. It just won’t install the app.
We are looking into this.
Yes, the service menu is there. I’ve seen it …. once.
By accident.
I wanted to reproduce it, no luck.
What is the exact procedure the go to the service menu? Swipe from right to left? Dubbel tap somewhere?
It is in the manual in this post. Press and hold for 5 seconds the bottom left corner of the screen.
Thanks. It works.
Feel like an idiot now.
Which Android version is the tablet running? Minimum supported is Android 6.
